Amy Foreshee
Overnight Assistant
Amy began in the veterinary field while pursuing a degree in marine biology or oceanography, originally planning it as a temporary job. Life took her in a different direction—she got married, had children, and stayed in emergency veterinary medicine, something she’s very happy about. She hopes to become licensed one day, and if she ever steps away from overnight emergency work, she would love to explore microbiology in a lab or pursue a veterinary specialty such as neurology or ophthalmology.
Some fun facts about Amy: her favorite animal is the orca whale, she tends to be a night owl, and while she enjoys both sweet and salty snacks, she usually leans toward sweets. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children and pets, PC gaming, crafting—especially crocheting—photography, and being outdoors in the woods.
